WHERE did the inspiration for this book come from?

Jayne’s new book, Z for Zanto, is a not for profit collaboration with Save the Children. The book was inspired by Save the Children’s vision:

“a world in which every child attains the right to survival, protection, development and participation.”.

WHY is this book meaningful to you and why would its message resonate with readers?

Primarily an exciting, page-turning read, Zanto’s story works as a powerful allegory for the plight of displaced and deprived children that any child can empathise with.

From Save the Children: “We are so proud of Jayne’s fantastic book. All proceeds will go towards Save the Children’s work. We go to the toughest places in the world to help children devasted by disaster, disease or conflict. We help children survive, provide them with a path out of poverty through education, and make sure they are safe from abuse, neglect, exploitation and violence”.

HOW have you promoted this book and how can we find it?

The book will be promoted through Save the Children’s social media platforms, and through the traditional media outlets (radio, print and all being well, TV interviews). It will be available in all IKEA stores across Australia, with in store activations being planned, and all Save the Children Op Shops, from Easter 2020. Save the Children will also sell it via its on-line book store, posting direct to purchasers.

The book will also be available digitally, via all digital platforms including Amazon and the Apple book store.
