We are absolutely delighted to welcome back talented author, Ashling Kwok, for another spectacular book campaign! It wasn’t long ago she introduced us to the loveable, Lola and Grandpa (see it all here). This week, we present The Battle (illustrated by Cara King); a valuable and sensitive tale of learning to have courage and finding the joy in life’s experiences. So, suit up and get set to take on the world, with Ashling and her protagonist, Edward!

A little bit about Ashling

Ashling has been writing books for as long as she can remember. She feels there’s nothing more satisfying than finding the right combination of words to bring my ideas to life. After graduating from University, Ashling went on to become a journalist and magazine editor, before setting up her own freelance writing company. Over the years, Ashling’s work has appeared in a number of newspapers and magazines, and she is a regular contributor to a variety of online publications. When she is not dreaming up new ideas or working on her latest book, Ashling can be found scouring local bookstores, marvelling at all the wonderful books being created by talented children’s authors.
