WOW! What a result! CONGRATULATIONS to everyone who tackled the enormity of writing a knock-out pitch for our 2022 Pitch It! Competition! And to elicit so much in only 150 words or less! The judges were all in agreeance – this year’s standard was extremely high; the pitches impressed with their well-crafted elements of intrigue, voice and professionalism. There was a wide range of topical and interesting concepts that obviously deliberately catered to the appropriate target market. Well done!
Our Picture Book Category tipped the scales with almost double the number of entries on last year! Nevertheless, all of the judges took on the enormous task of carefully considering and scoring the entries within their categories. HUGE thanks to these industry professionals, with whom between them offer many years of incredible experience, knowledge and merit in the children’s book industry.
